How to translate Judge.me
How to translate Pagefly

1. How to translate Judge.me

Translating your Judge.me resources consists of two parts:

Translating the general resources of the Judge.me app
Translating the Judge.me reviews

1. Translating the general resources of the Judge.me app

The general resources of the Judge.me app come translated out of the box with the Judge.me app itself. Those are the general texts that the Judge.me app uses, like "Write a review", "Customer reviews", "Most Recent", etc.:

To activate those translations, go to Judge.me -> General settings -> Account. Under the Multi-language store section, you need to enable the
Enable multi-language widgets checkbox:

This will activate the pre-defined translations for the General texts in Judge.me:

Now, you may proceed with translating the actual reviews with Translation Lab.

2. Translating the Judge.me reviews

The first thing you need to do is to add your Judge.me Public API key, so that our app has access to the Judge.me reviews. This step is only required once.

Go to General settings -> Integrations -> and click the View API token button:

Then, copy the Public API key:

And add it in T Lab, under the Settings page:

And save the changes. Now that T Lab has the public API key, go to Translations -> Translation of -> Judge.me and click the Sync button:

The Sync process will gather all the reviews from Judge.me and once complete, you can either translate them manually, or, automatically by clicking the Bulk translate button.

Make sure you have the "Custom translations" app embed enabled in your theme Customizer -> App embeds, so that the Judge.me review translations are active on your store.

Note that if new reviews are added to the store, you need to Sync the Judge.me resources again, then translate the new content. This is necessary, since Judge.me does not support the multi-language feature and does not store it's resources on the Shopify's servers as "translatable" resources.

2. How to translate Pagefly

To translate the Pagefly app's resources, go to Translations -> Translation of -> Pagefly. Once there, click the Sync button:

The Synchronization process will gather all the resources coming from the Pagefly builder and allow you to translate them. Once it's complete, you can either translate all the resources manually, or with AI, by clicking the Bulk translate button:

Make sure you have the "Custom translations" app embed enabled in your theme Customizer -> App embeds, so that the Pagefly translations are active on your store.

In case you add additional resources/pages through the Pagefly builder, or, you modify any existing content, you need to Sync the resources again, then translate the new content. This is necessary, since Pagefly does not support the multi-language feature and does not store it's resources on the Shopify's servers as "translatable" resources.
